The Studio

Located on the edge of the Mojave/Colorado desert in Indio, California, the boutique studio was launched in 2014 by writer, producer, artist, and photographer Laura Cross to share her love of America, imagery and stories.

The Writer/Artist & Founder

Studio founder Laura Holycross (known professionally as Laura Cross) spends her time writing/producing stories and designing images that Capture the American Spirit®.

Laura produced and narrated the independent audio documentary series Battlefield Fallujah in 2019. Her short action/war proof-of-concept film Devil Dogs premiered at the GI Film Festival in Washington D.C., Memorial Day Weekend 2017, and was broadcast on ShortsTV channel in the U.S., Europe, and South America.
